The information we offer you covers many aspects of our school life, its organisation and the interesting ways in which we prepare and offer the Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum. Our goals are, however, much more than those that can be achieved in the Infant School. We are concerned with educating children in preparation for their life in the wider community - and indeed creating in children an interest in education for life.

We aim to develop in the children a special self-motivation where their creativity is recognised and encouraged. We believe that children need their individual strengths highlighted so that they develop positive self-esteem. We expect them to excel but we understand, as you do, that there may be some mistakes along the way – and that the mistakes in themselves can be turned into positive learning points.

This is a family school in the heart of the community and like every family it will have its ups and downs! I hope we can all work to create an understanding and supportive atmosphere together - with this aim we hope to make Sudley Infant School a special place where your child, my staff and yourselves can build a bright future.
