Dear Parents, Guardians, Friends & Governors
Book FairA catalogue is enclosed which will give you an idea of the selection available. We very much hope you can come and choose a book with your child at the time below. If you are unable to attend you can either a) complete the order form in the catalogue OR b) send money/cheque in to school (IN AN ENVELOPE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME) for your child to choose from the full range on display. Whichever of the above methods you choose, all cheques should be made payable to ‘Sudley Infant Activity Fund’. If the book your child wants in unavailable an order will be placed with the supplier – this will take a couple of weeks. Books cannot be ordered without payment. World Book Day vouchers cannot be used to purchase any books from the book fair.

Playground We have received a quotation for the first stage of development of the playspace. We will be having 2 ball pens constructed at the top end of the playground and classes will take it in turn to use them. As everything, these are expensive but SIPFA have agreed to find half the amount with the school. We will not be resurfacing the playground – our playground consultant has said that the cost to the school would be prohibitive (indeed, 12 years ago when I first came the cost quoted then was in the region of £40,000) and with the new developments, unnecessary. All costs of this nature, under the Local Management of Schools, fall to the school to pay.
Marie Curie DaffodilsDaffodils are now on sale. Donations not less than 30p please.
Dates 2 April Break up at 1.30 pm.
