                                                      Sudley Infant School

                                                       NEWSLETTER 3 (2005)                         25 February 2005

Dear Parents, Guardians, Friends & Governors

Tsunami Appeal   £495 was raised.  Well done everyone for contributing to such a large total.  Mrs Christine Murray, one of our dinner staff, is going out to Sri Lanka as an aid worker and will take the Sudley Infants’ money with her.  I’m hoping she will take some photographs for us to look at on her return.

Red Nose Day   Red noses are on sale for £1.  We have 120 – when they are gone, they’re gone!

Marie Curie Daffodils   Daffodils are now on sale.  Marie Curie have requested donations not less than £1 please.

Book Fair   A catalogue is enclosed which will give you an idea of the selection available.  We very much hope you can come and choose a book with your child at the time below.  If you are unable to attend you can either a) complete the order form in the catalogue  OR

b) send money/cheque in to school (IN AN ENVELOPE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME) for your child to choose from the full range on display.  Whichever of the above methods you choose, all cheques should be made payable to ‘Sudley Infant Activity Fund’.  If the book your child wants in unavailable an order will be placed with the supplier – this will take a couple of weeks.  Books cannot be ordered without payment.  World Book Day vouchers cannot be used to purchase any books from the book fair.
