Sudley Infant School NEWSLETTER 10 (2003) 9th December 2003
Dear Parents, Guardians, Friends & Governors
Christmas Show – Cinderella’s Christmas Please find your tickets attached to this newsletter. [c4]Please return any unwanted tickets to Mrs Burkhill as there is always a waiting list. Admission to the performances will only be allowed on production of the appropriate ticket. You will realise that all the children are in the show and will all be dressing up. Some children are not naturally confident and the Christmas Show is another way of encouraging self-esteem and confidence. With this in mind there are a few points to make about the show.
We ask that parents taking photographs consider other parents who are watching. In fairness to all parents, we also ask that you do not ‘keep’ places in the queue or seats in the hall.
We do not admit babies, toddlers or children of pre-school age to the show. If you have older children who are off school on the day of the performance, please make arrangements for their care.
The performances will last approximately an hour. Programmes are now on sale at £1 each – every child’s name is in the programme.
Thank you to all the parents and friends of the school who have made costumes and helped the children with lines, songs, dances etc.
Isn’t it time the parents did a show for the children???
Charities Day Total raised £3,283. Well done everyone – a special thank you to teachers and staff for organising the events.
Christmas Fair Thank you to everyone who helped in any way – we will let you know how much was raised next term - it’s looking good at present!
